Advertisements For or Against? Anyone?

For the last couple of weeks I wanted to give google/ads a trial.  What a disaster. It's been a complete disappointment, took some time to set it up on the site,  sign up with google and so on and so forth! 
The look of my site was completely overwhelmed with adverts and possibly  the worst kind I won't mention any names but the worst of the worst so I decided to take them all down and move forward to a more streamlined website.   Something that represents me and my work and does not distract and mainly upset my visitors, I know how much I dislike adverts...its a modern irritation...

The last couple of weeks I've been working on finishing off a couple of weaving projects I had and have going and warping up my Ashford Tapestry Loom.....doing quite a lot of planning and designing working out how best to plan ...
